MISS ARNECIA NICOLE BRADLEY

About Miss Black Alabama USA

Inspired, accomplished and a woman of tremendous faith, Arnecia Bradley’s sights are set on enriching lives through service and mentoring. Arnecia is an intelligent young lady with a confident, jovial, and commanding presence.

A native of Little Rock, Arkansas, Arnecia chose to utilize her knowledge of technical and leadership skills to increase her efforts towards scholastic achievement, and impact her community in a positive way. Her platform is “Math and Science Literacy: Unlocking Doors for Educational Opportunity.” “Learning should be continuous. We should encourage cooperation rather than competition. Increasing the publics understanding and appreciation of mathematics and science will influence a growth pattern in our youth’s hard work and application in these areas,” explained Arnecia.

Arnecia won her first pageant, Little Miss College Station, at the age of 4. But she didn’t stop there. She later received the title of Little Miss Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc, Miss College Station, Miss Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc, and Miss Civil Engineer.

An alumnus of Alabama A&M University, Arnecia graduated with a 3.62 grade point average in Civil Engineering while minoring in Telecommunications. Arnecia was well involved in her undergraduate community. While attending Alabama A&M University, she was named Outstanding Scholar for the School of Engineering and Technology 2002, founder of the AAMU Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers, Senior Class President, Presidential Scholar, Co-Op Professional Club President, member of the Honors College Program, NASA Space Grant Fellowship recipient, UNCF Corporate Scholar and the list continues. She also serves as an Ambassador for the Monster Inc Diversity Leadership Program in which she received an all expense paid trip to Jamaica, New York and Boston, Massachusetts, speaking to upcoming college juniors and seniors about options after undergraduate school, personal finances, formatting a resume, and conducting a perfect interview.

Recently, Arnecia completed her Masters of Business Administration at the University of North Alabama. She is employed with the US Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Center as a Civil Engineer.

In her spare time, Arnecia enjoys golfing and shooting pool, theatre and dance performances, shopping, traveling, volunteering for charitable organization including Girls, Incorporated and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, St. Luke M.B.
